There were indications that the wife of the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, has started urging the former governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, to recontest the governorship seat in the state.
Speaking with political associates at Ado-Ekiti, over the weekend, Erelu Bisi Fayemi who appeared in an unusual outfit that repelled attention, was caught to have said, "Kayode Fayemi is coming back to be your governor, comes next dispensation. I've been telling him to restructure his team."
The former First Lady was also alleged to have derogatorily described the All Progressive Congress (APC) Ekiti State chapter as ungrateful. Saying, with all the former governor did for the party, she never dreamt of her husband, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, losing the state in its totality during the last year June 21 gubernatorial election.
