Everyone’s got a love story, right? Who was the first person you fell head over heels in love with? How did you meet your spouse? What bumps did you hit on the road to matrimonial bliss? I haven’t heard a love story that didn’t in some way fascinate me. I’m convinced that no one has a boring love story.
Love stories are wonderful. They’re priceless! They should be recorded and shared with your friends and future posterity. These stories will be a priceless legacy to all of your loved ones.
Here is a challenge that I’d like to leave with you. I would like to challenge you to take 30 minutes and write down some memories of your courtship. If you’re not married yet, write about someone you were or are gaga in love with. Consider some of the questions below to help prompt your thoughts.
•How did you meet your sweetheart?
•What made you fall in love with your spouse?
•Were there any challenges that you had to overcome to get married?
•What was your spouse’s parents’ reaction to the announcement of your courtship/marriage?
•What convinced you that he/she was the one for you?
•What did you love most about your spouse when you were courting him/her?
These are just a few of the many possible questions you could use. As you start recalling some of the stories of your courtship, more will come.
Once you’ve written something about your personal love story, go to http://goo.gl/0R4LMt or send your write up to lovestoriesarchive@gmail.com ( Email subject should be "our love story". At least two pictures of the couple should also be attached)
What a wonderful way to preserve the precious memories of a wonderful part of your life and share them with generations to come. Live your love story again and again by sharing it with others.
