The lingering feud between a former chairman of SSRC Ethics and conduct committee Hon Olaleye Isa Abiodun and the incumbent SSRC speaker Rt. Hon Goodluck Amobi has ended after last week's NAMS stakeholders meeting.
The meeting which was convened by NAMS President, Com. Olufowora Olorunleke took place at science LT1 and later relocated to a tree shade.
Among those present at the meeting, according to NAMS Microscope's investigations were NAMS President; Com. Olufowora Olorunleke, NAMS Gen. sec; Com. Iyiola Olamisoji, NAMS Fin. sec; Com Ayodeji Aladejana and Justice ADENIYI Akinola. Others were, Com. Afolayan Olufunke, Com. Adeola Pius, Com. Akinloose Kolawole, Com. Fayeun Seye, Com. Iseyemi Seyi, Emeritus Com. Igwe, friends of Ord. Skrtel; Iseoluwa Ige, Odeyemi Shina and Adewebi Odunayo.
Both political gladiators were given time to freely express themselves on the reason for the political feud.
After pleading with them to sheath their sword, the meeting had prevailed on the two of them to ensure that the ongoing feud ended in the interest of not only NAMS but SSRC as the feud had posed serious challenges in the House of Hope.
Com. Olorunleke told the meeting that he was not ready to allow their political difference to affect the effective review of the NAMS constitution, a development which would adversely the smooth running of the NAMS Administration.
After the meeting , both Hon. Skrtel and Rt. Hon Goodluck hugged and promised to work together as brothers. They assured that they would work to ensure peace and stability in NAMS.
"I can tell you clearly that both parties are now in good terms. I salute their commitment, and diligence. Those present at the meeting are appreciated to their role in resolving the feud." Com. Olorunleke said.
